A 19-year-old man has died following a crash in Co Cork overnight.
The single-vehicle crash happened on a local road at Knockleigh, Belgooly shortly after midnight.
The 19-year-old man was the driver of the car and is believed to have been the sole occupant.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after emergency services arrived.
His body has been taken to Cork University Hospital.
The road remains closed to traffic this morning with a forensic exam due to take place.

The crash was the second fatal road incident this weekend.
A woman in her 30s died following a crash in Lahinch, Co Clare yesterday evening.
The woman was a passenger in a car that crashed at around 6:40pm.
No other serious injuries were reported from the single-vehicle collision.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Ennis Garda Station.
