A man in his early 20s has died following a shooting in Finglas, north Dublin, suspected to be gang-related.
It happened shortly after 7pm outside a house on Barry Drive in north Finglas.
The man was shot several times in the driveway of the house.
He was treated by emergency personnel at the scene before being taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving to hospital.
The shooting is understood to be drugs-related.
The scene of the incident is currently closed off for forensic examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
