A man in his early 20s has died following a collision between a pedestrian and a motorcyclist. 

Gardaí said the crash happened at 2.45am, September 24th, at a roundabout on Whitestown Way in Tallaght, Co Dublin. 

The motorcyclist, a man in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The pedestrian, also a man in his 20s, was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

The road at Whitestown Way remains closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. 

Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage - including dash-cam - and were near Whitestown Way at the time are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
