A man has died in a farming accident in Co. Cork.

The victim (26) was found by his Father, trapped under a trailer at the farm in Knockea in Clonakilty.

Emergency services were called, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been removed to hospital for a post mortem.

The Health and Safety Authority has been notified, and an investigation is expected to be carried out into the cause of the man's death.
