A man in his 40s was found dead in a camper van during cold conditions in Kilkenny over the weekend.
As The Irish Times reports, the body of Gerry Kennedy from Tikerlevan, Coppenagh was found at midday on Sunday.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident in Thomastown at around midday on Sunday, January 5th.
His body was removed to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital, and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.
It is believed he may have died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after leaving the engine of his camper van on all night during the cold snap.
