Earlier Graham Dwyer from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock in Dublin made his second court appearance since he was charged last week.
Upon entering the courtroom this morning, he gave a thumbs up to an elderly man in the public gallery. The gesture was quickly returned before the case was discussed.
The married father of two has been in custody since he was arrested and charged with murder last week.
The remains of the care worker were found by a walker in the Dublin Mountains last month.
By pure coincidence some of her belongings were found in a reservoir in Roundwood, Co. Wicklow a few days beforehand.
A High Court application for bail is yet to be made but Mr. Dwyer’s solicitor told the court sitting that it was likely to happen the week after next.
A statement of the architect's means was also handed in today and a decision on legal aid will now be considered by the court.
In the meantime Mr. Dwyer has been remanded in custody to appear in court again next month.
