A man has admitted attempting to have sex with a post-box while drunk. He was caught with his trousers down while shouting "wow" with his hands in the air, a court in Britain heard today.

Paul Bennett of Greater Manchester was spotted rubbing himself against a post-box in a Wigan shopping arcade by a witness who called the police, The Daily Mail reports.

Bennett, 45, was drunk at the time and his shouting alerted the witness who looked out her window to see him taking his trousers down and performing the act with the post-box.

Police officers the found Bennett, still exposing himself, at the front of a nearby shop. Bennett shouted and swore at officers.

Bennett plead guilty to two charges of indecent exposure and using threatening and abusive language with abusive behaviour.

Defending Martin Jones said: 'The lady watched for sometime and was ashamed, disgusted and upset and my client accepts that. Clearly there are issues that need to be addressed.'
