A man has admitted murdering an Irish vet whose body has never been fully recovered.

Catherine Gowing was last seen in Flintshire in north Wales last October.

She is originally from Clonlee in Co. Offaly.

Some of her remains were found at two sites near her home in New Brighton.

Clive Sharp who is 46 admitted murder at Mold Crown Court.

Her remains were laid to rest on January 3rd.

More than 300 people attended a remembrance service in Kinnitty, Co. Offaly, earlier this month.
