Two people have been charged in connection with the death of a two-year-old girl in County Tyrone.

Toddler Ali Jayden Doyle died in hospital on Friday after suffering head injuries at a house in Dungannon.

The PSNI says a 32-year-old man has been charged with murder and perverting the court of justice.

A woman - aged 24 - has been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child and perverting the course of justice.

Both the man and woman are expected to appear before Omagh Magistrate’s Court later today.
