If you are a bit of a featherhead or find yourself regularly in the dog house with the girlfriend, then you could do with Man App.

Not only does the app reminds men of important dates such as birthdays and anniversaries - but it also offers guys advice as to why they might be in trouble with their partner.

The mobile phone app was developed by Mayo man Cillian Ó Mongáin after he carried out a relationship survey.

It found that 35 per cent of women give their partner the silent treatment on a monthly basis, while 58 per cent said they had received unromantic gifts - such as a chair, a car stereo and bike parts.
