A 44-year-old Dubliner has appeared in court charged over an incident in which the front of a Hugo Boss store on Grafton Street was rammed.
Lee Conlon, of Meath Place on Thomas St, appeared before Judge Paula Murphy at the Dublin District Court this afternoon.
He is accused of criminal damage to the value of €51,000 to the front door and windows of the Hugo Boss store on Grafton Street in the early hours of January 18th, as well as stealing €31,200 worth of goods from the shop.
Garda Aine Hogan gave evidence of arrest charge and caution, to which Mr Conlon made no reply.
Mr Conlon was remanded in custody and there was no application for bail.
He is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court via videolink next week.
He was also granted Legal Aid at this afternoon’s hearing.
