Two men have been arrested after another man was found stabbed to death in Co Kerry.
Gardaí in Tralee say they're investigating all circumstances surrounding the death of the man in his 50s in the town on Sunday.
Shortly after 7.00pm, Gardaí discovered the man with serious injuries at an apartment in the Abbey Court apartment complex.
He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
A man in his 50s was arrested in relation to the incident on Sunday, while a second man - aged in his early 30s - was detained on Monday.
They are both being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Garda stations in Kerry.
The local coroner has been notified, and the services of the State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.
The body of the man remains at the scene, which is currently preserved.
A technical examination of the scene and a post-mortem examination will be conducted later on Monday.
An incident room has been set up at Tralee Garda station.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and particularly to those who were in the vicinity of Abbey Court apartments and Denny Lane/Street areas between 6:30pm and 7:00pm on Sunday evening to come forward.
