A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson attack at a business premises in Cork City last night.
It happened on the Ballincollie Road in Ballyvolane at around 10.50pm.
Fire Brigade Officer Victor Shine said emergency services extinguished the fire.
"Crews were met by staff at the premises who said that petrol had been poured onto the decking outside the premises," he said.
"They brought the fire under control using extinguishers.
"There were some windows open and some damage was done to the internal [area] of the property."
No injuries were reported.
A man in his 30s was later arrested and is currently being held at a Garda Station in Cork.
Investigations are ongoing.
