A man has been arrested after the body of a man in his 40s was found by Gardaí in Dublin. 

Just after 8 this morning, officers were called out to a property in Lucan’s Old Bridge Park where they found the man’s body. 

The scene has been preserved for a forensic and technical examination by Gardaí and a post-mortem examination has been arranged. 

A Family Liaison Officer will also be appointed to help the deceased man’s family. 

A man in his 20s has been arrested and detained at a Garda Station in West Dublin for questioning.
