A man has been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into fraudulent mortgage loans on properties in Munster.
The man in his sixties was detained by gardaí in Naas, County Kildare and is being held at the Bridewell Garda Station in Cork.
It brings to seven the number of people questioned as part of the investigation.
On the 29th May, four men and two women were arrested in Cork but have since been released.
Gardaí also seized a large amount of documentation, along with computers, storage devices, phones and cannabis plants on the same day.
A file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
