A man in his 40s is still being questioned following the discovery of a Poitín factory in Co. Cavan. Officers from Revenue's Customs Service uncovered the facility close to Ballyconnell on Friday.
Around 2,000 litres of unfinished alcohol, 900 empty bottles, tanks and barrels were found.
Two copper cylinder tanks complete with fittings as well as seven 200 litre barrels and a pump were also discovered.

The man being questioned is Irish and investigations are said to be on-going.
