Around €170,000 worth of drugs have been seized by Gardai in Dublin. Officers searched a house in Balgaddy area yesterday afternoon.

They uncovered an estimated €150,000 worth of cocaine and a further €20,000 worth of cannabis. A firearm and ammunition was also seized during the raid.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He is being questioned at Ronanstown Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardai say this is part of an on-going investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Ronanstown/Lucan area. Investigations are continuing.
