Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a homeless man in Cork city in October.
Timothy Hourihane died following an assault at Mardyke Walk on October 13th.
Emergency services had been called to the scene following reports of an injured man and a tent on fire.
When they arrived, they found Mr Hourihane unconscious and seriously injured.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Today, gardaí arrested two men in connection with Mr Hourihane's murder.
A man in his 20s is being held at Bridewell garda station.
A second man in his 30s is currently detained at Portlaoise garda station.
They are both being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
