A man has been arrested after dangerous driving in north Dublin.
Gardaí say they were alerted to a car driving dangerously in Lusk on Friday night at around 7.30pm.
The car had been stolen during a burglary in Maynooth, Co Kildare on Thursday.
The stolen car hit a number of parked cars in the Whitethorn Walk area of Lusk.
The driver then abandoned that car, and attempted to hijack another car in the area.
The driver of the other car was threatened, but not injured.
Gardaí from Lusk, Balbriggan and an Armed Support Unit arrested a man at around 8.00pm in connection with the investigation.
He is currently being held at Balbriggan Garda station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act.
