A man's been arrested without charge following an altercation involving the Taoiseach in Carlow.
Enda Kenny had been canvassing in the constituency ahead of the Kilkenny-Carlow by-election.
He was leaving the Fairgreen shopping centre in Carlow town at around 4.30pm when a man is alleged to have approached and confronted him.

Gardai intervened and arrested the protester, who has since been released.
