A man in his 30s has been arrested in Killargue, County Leitrim, following the discharge of a firearm.
On the afternoon of Friday 7th March, Gardaí responded to an emergency call at a residential location in Killargue, Co. Leitrim.
The Armed Support Unit also attended the scene.

Following an intervention by the Armed Support Unit - including the deployment of a Taser - a man was arrested outside the residence and a firearm was seized.
The man is currently detained at a Garda station in Leitrim.
The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
The firearm seized is now subject to forensic and ballistic examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
