A man in his 30s has been arrested following a robbery in Ballymun, County Dublin.
Shortly before 2.30pm, Gardaí responded to reports of a robbery at a retail premises on Marewood Crescent, Ballymun.
A man entered the store brandishing a knife, threatened staff and removed property before leaving on foot.
Following this, a man in his 30s was arrested in the Sandyhill Gardens area.
The man is being held at a Garda station in the Dublin region in connection with this incident as well as a number of similar robberies that took place in recent days.
Investigations are ongoing.
