A man has been arrested following the seizure of €40,000 worth of drugs in county Carlow.
The discovery was made during Covid-19 checkpoints along the M9 this afternoon, when officers felt a motorist was driving under the influence.

Following a road-side test, the driver tested positive for cocaine and after a search of the car cannabis worth €40,000 was found.
A man in his 30s was arrested and taken to Carlow Garda Station.
