A man has been arrested today in connection with the Dublin riots.
It comes as part of ongoing investigations into public disorder events on November 23rd, 2023 in the city centre.
The man arrested is in his 30s and has been detained under Section 4 of the Justice Act.
He is currently being held at a Garda station in the Dublin region.
Over 50 people have previously been arrested in connection with the Dublin riots, during which Garda vehicles, a Luas tram and several Dublin busses were set alight at a cost of millions to the State.
The riots followed a stabbing incident on Parnell Square earlier that day that resulted in injuries to three children and a care assistant.
An Garda Síochána is asking for anyone with information on the events of that day to contact them.
