A man in his 40s has been arrested as part of an investigation into the death of a father of three in Limerick City 17 years ago.
The victim Noel Campion was in his 30's when he was shot dead at Thomondgate, on April 26th 2007. He was shot several times while a passenger on a motorbike.
A man was detained yesterday, and has since been charged in connection with the investigation.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this afternoon.
It's believed the shooting relates to a historic gangland feud.
