A man has been arrested over an assault that has left a man in serious condition in hospital for nearly two weeks.
The man in his 30s was assaulted on the afternoon of Sunday, August 18th in Killinarden Heights in Tallaght.
He was rushed to Tallaght University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition 11 days later.

Today, Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the assault.
He is being held at a Garda station in Dublin under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The Garda investigation is continuing.
