A man who was arrested yesterday in connection with a crash in Cork has been released without charge.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The man, aged in his 30s, was driving a car when it crashed at Ballynamona, Kinsale, Co. Cork at 1.30am on Saturday night.
The passenger in the car, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains have been removed from the scene to the mortuary at Cork University Hospital.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
The road at Ballynamona was closed for forensic examination yesterday but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this crash to come forward.
They are particularly interested in anyone with dash-cam footage who was driving in the area at the time.
