A man's been arrested after a drugs bust in the city centre.

€100,000 worth of cannabis plants were found at an apartment on Wolfe Tone Street.

Yesterday afternoon gardaí carried out a planned search an apartment at Stafford House on Wolfe Tone Street.

There they found cannabis grow house and plants worth up to €100,000.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at Store Street garda station.

Other drug paraphernalia was also seized during the operation.
