A man has been arrested in connection with a 'serious incident' in Stoneybatter, County Dublin.

The Irish Times report that up to four people have been stabbed in an attack in Dublin 7.

The man is being held at a Garda station in the North City.

Gardaí have responded to the scene and said there is no ongoing risk to the public.
