Police investigating the murder of journalist Lyra McKee in Derry have arrested a 46-year-old man.
Detectives made the arrest after carrying out searches in the Northland Road and Creggan areas of the city.
The man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to the Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
Ms McKee was shot dead during rioting in Creggan on April 18th.
Police said Ms McKee was wounded after a single gunman opened fire in the housing estate.
She was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A group claiming to be the ‘New IRA’ has since claimed responsibility.
