A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Co. Kildare last weekend.

The body of the 47 year old was found at a house at Lacken View in Naas on Sunday.

The State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy carried out a post mortem examination but gardai say the results of the autopsy are not being released ‘for operational reasons’.

A 47 year old man was arrested today and is being questioned at Naas Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
