A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the murder of Eamon Dunne in Dublin over 2 years ago.
Mr. Dunne who was known to Gardaí as a significant gangland figure was shot dead in the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra on April 23rd 2010.
Dunne was at a party with around 40 other people in the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra on the night he died.
A silver saloon car with four people inside pulled up outside the pub.
One of the occupants remained at the wheel while the second stood guard outside and the others entered the pub.
The gunman singled Eamon Dunne out and shot him 6 times in the head and back.
A number of people have been arrested in connection with the murder.
This morning a man in his 30s was detained in the Dublin area.
He is being held at Mountjoy Garda Station under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
