Gardaí in Kerry are continuing to question a 26-year-old man in connection with the double murder of Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter Enrika in Co. Kerry.
The 27-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter were found dead at their home in Killorglin almost 2 weeks ago. They had been stabbed to death.
The man is believed to be from Eastern Europe. He was arrested at around 6am this morning in Killorglin.
A second house in Killorglin at Ardmoniel Heights has been sealed off and is being searched by Gardai.
Investigators have made more than one appeal to the public for information about Jolanta's last movements.
She was last seen on Langford Street, Killorglin at 1.50pm Saturday June 15th walking towards her home at Langford Downs - a 15 minute walk from Killorglin.
Meanwhile a man in his 40s was arrested and released without charge earlier in the week on suspicion of withholding information. He was questioned by gardaí under section 30 of the Offences Against State Act.
A file on him is being prepared for the DPP.
