A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of Thomas Dooley in a County Kerry cemetery.
Mr Dooley was stabbed to death as he attended a funeral at New Rath Cemetery in Tralee yesterday morning.
He was attacked by a group of people just outside the cemetery.
It is believed his wife Siobhan Dooley also suffered injuries in the attack and was taken to University Hospital Kerry (UHK) with non-life-threatening injuries.
A man in his 30s has now been arrested by Gardai investigating the attack.
He was arrested in the early hours of this morning and is being held at Tralee Garda Station.
Meanwhile, a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out at UHK later today.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward and for anyone with camera footage to make it available to them.
The investigation is continuing.
