A man in his late 20s is due in court on Monday in connection with an attempted robbery in Co Donegal.
Gardaí say a man went into a shop in Newtowncunningham at around 11:45am yesterday morning and threatened a worker with a knife.
He left empty-handed, and gardaí say the staff member was not physically harmed.

After the alarm was raised, a Garda unit on 'covert patrol' near the scene arrested a man in his 20s.
He was taken to Letterkenny Garda Station for questioning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The arrested man is now expected to appear before Letterkenny District Court on Monday.
