A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of two handguns in Dublin's south inner city.
Overnight, gardaí searched an apartment in Kevin Street as part of an ongoing investigation into serious criminality in the Tallaght area.
During the search, officers seized two handguns, two magazines and an amount of ammunition.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene.
He is currently being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 at Kilmainham Garda Station, where he can be held for up to three days.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
