The man behind the anti-Islamic film that’s sparked violent protests around the world is being questioned by police in California.
Federal police want to find out if Nakoula Besseley Nakoula has violated probation.
He previously served time in jail for possession of crystal meth with intent to manufacture – and in 2009 was charged in an alleged bank fraud conspiracy.
Protests against the film continue today – and have spread as far as Australia, where hundreds have taken part in a violent demonstration in Sydney.
The US has deployed marines Yemen, Sudan and Libya to protect embassies there.
