A man has been charged in relation to a fatal assault in Finglas.
It happened on Thursday around 12.30am on St Margaret’s Road when the victim, a man in his 50s, was found with serious injuries.
He was rushed to the Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Today, Gardaí have charged a man aged in his 30s in relation to the incident.
He will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin tomorrow morning.
A post-mortem by the State Pathologist has been completed, but Gardaí will not release the results "for operational reasons."
