A second person arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Jones in Cork city has been charged with a burglary offence.
The man's sister - 52-year-old Helen Jones - was brought before Cork District Court this evening while 41-year-old Keith O'Hara was in court this morning.
Helen Jones and Keith O'Hara - both with an address at Cahergal Avenue, Mayfield - were arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of the 55-year-old who was found dead in his home on the Bandon Road last Saturday.
Helen Jones was brought before Cork District Court this evening charged with aggravated burglary at Paul Jones's house on September 4th and that she had a knife with her at the time.
She made no reply to the charge and no application for bail was made in court.
Earlier today Keith O'Hara was before Cork District Court charged with entering Mr Jones home as a trespasser with intent to commit an assault causing harm.
The two accused have been remanded in custody until September 19th next.
The court also heard that Helen Jones had been sick during her detention, and her solicitor asked that she receive any necessary medical treatment while in custody.
