Gardaí have charged a man in his 20s following the suspected stabbing of a man in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
The man was arrested yesterday after the body of victim was discovered.
He is due to appear before a special sitting of Gorey District Court this afternoon at 3.30pm.
Gardaí began investigating the death of the Wexford man in his 40s on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the property in Westbury Woods at around 9pm and believe the man was attacked with a knife. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination took place at Waterford Regional Hospital yesterday.
According to Gardaí, a full investigation is currently being conducted at Enniscorthy Garda station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer (SIO).
The residence at Westbury Woods remains preserved for technical examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information that can assist with this investigation to come forward.
