A man has been charged in relation to the fatal stabbing of a teenager.

He is due before a sitting of the Dublin District Court later this afternoon.

The victim cannot be named due to reporting restrictions under the Children's Act.

It prohibits the release of any information which could lead to the identification of any child that's been the victim of a crime.
