A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious hit-and-run incident in Derrymullen, County Kildare.

The incident happened on the morning of February 2nd.

A woman in her 40s sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being struck in the Derrymullen area.

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 30s in relation to the incident.

He has since been charged and released from custody and will appear before Naas District Court later next month.
