A 22-year-old man has been charged with the murders of Michael Snee and Aidan Moffitt.
The two men were separately found dead in their homes in County Sligo on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
22-year-old Yousef Palani, with an address at Markievicz Heights in Sligo, was arrested on suspicion of murder hours after Mr Snee was found dead on Tuesday.
He was questioned throughout the day yesterday and again today.
He was brought before Sligo District Court this afternoon where he was charged with two counts of murder and a third count of assault causing serious harm to another man.

Mr Palani was charged with the murder of 41-year-old Aidan Moffitt at Cartron Heights, Sligo on Sunday, April 10th.
He was also charged with the murder of 58-year-old Michael Snee at City View Apartments in Sligo on April 12th.
He was also charged with the assault of Anthony Bourke on the Cleveragh Road on Saturday April 9th.
The 22-year-old was remanded in custody to reappear before Sligo District Court on April 21st via videolink.
