A man is due to appear before Portlaoise District Court this morning charged in connection with the death of Christy Daly in Co. Offaly last month.

His body was discovered at Bog Road in Clara, Co. Offaly on January 7th.

Investigating gardaí in Tullamore charged a man (23) with an offence in connection with the investigation last night.

The man was arrested last Friday at Clara and was detained at Portlaoise garda station.
