A man has been charged with the murder of County Down father Pat McCormick.
The 55-year-old’s body was found at a lake near Ballygowan on Tuesday.
The father-of-four was last seen in the town of Comber near Newtownards on May 30th.
Detectives believe he was killed shortly after going under an archway leading off Castle Street towards an apartment complex.
This morning, police in Northern Ireland said they had charged a 26-year-old man with his murder.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old woman has been charged with assisting offenders and perverting the course of Justice.
Both are due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court this morning.
The charges will be reviewed by the Northern Ireland Public Prosecution Service, as is normal procedure.
