A man has been charged with threatening to kill Donald Trump in southern California.
Manuel Tamayo-Torres is accused of posting videos on a "near-daily basis" on social media as part of plans to target the US president-elect.
Court documents have said he also accused Mr Trump and his family of kidnapping and sex-trafficking.
Elsewhere, the FBI is investigating a string of bomb threats against members of Mr Trump's proposed administration.
Several appointees of Mr Trump have also been targeted by 'swatting' - where a false crime is reported to force an armed police response.
These threats have been taken "very seriously" according to Sky's US correspondent James Matthews because of "the state of American politics right now".
The two previous assassination attempts against Mr Trump have also made these threats a top priority for the FBI.
