The driver of the minibus is in a critical condition - but everyone else involved in the crash are believed to have received non life threatening injuries.

Diversions in place

The section of the road is currently closed and diversions are in place.

This latest road crash comes as events are due to take place around the country today to remember all those who have died on the country"s roads.

The third Sunday of November is recognised in many European countries as a Day of Remembrance for road traffic victims.

150 people have died on Irish roads so far this year, and spokesperson for the Road Safety Authority Brian Farrell said it is also a day when we can all reflect on our own driving behaviour.
