A man has spent the night in custody following his arrest over the death of Cameron Blair in Cork last week.

The 20-year-old student was stabbed to death at a house party on the Bandon Road last week.

Yesterday, a 17-year-old man presented himself to Togher Garda Station for questioning. He has since been arrested.

Cameron as a second-year student at the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and played rugby for Bandon Rugby Club.

His funeral is due to take place on Sunday.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for anyone who has any information to contact them.
