Gardai have identified the man who's partially dismembered body was found in Cork city on Saturday evening.
A murder investigation was launched yesterday, after the scene of the discovery was examined by forensic teams.
The remains of the man who's been named locally as 64 year old Francis Dunne, were found outside a deserted building not far from the city centre.

The victim had engaged with homeless services in the city.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area in recent days to come forward.
