A man in his 60s has died following a bicycle crash in Dublin yesterday.
It happened at 2pm on the Ticknock Road in Ticknock, Co Dublin.
The cyclist was taken to St Vincent's University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
A technical examination of the scene on the Ticknock Road has been conducted and the road has re-opened to traffic.
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
They are particularly interested in anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area at the time.
This is the 114th death on Irish roads so far this year.
